Marketing strategy for an AI ATS and AI recruitment tool

Most companies do not lack activity. They lack direction. I learned this while marketing heyree, an AI ATS for HR and recruitment teams. The same steps work for any AI recruitment tool, and for most brands outside AI hiring too.

1. Start with the person you sell to

Do not start with channels or tools. Start with the person. For an AI ATS that means the recruiter or HR lead: what keeps them awake, what have they already tried and why did it fail? Without this clarity, every campaign is a shot in the dark.

2. Write one sentence that sells the direction

Positioning is not a slogan. It is a decision about who you serve and why they should choose you. If you cannot say it in one sentence, you have a wish list rather than a strategy.

3. Choose channels around real behaviour

A B2B service such as an AI recruitment tool may need LinkedIn and focused outreach to people responsible for hiring. A lifestyle brand may need Instagram, TikTok and Meta. Do not try to be everywhere. Be useful where your customers already spend time.

4. Treat the website as a salesperson

When ten relevant people arrive and nobody reaches out, the traffic source is not the only problem. The headline, proof and offer must make the value clear within seconds.

5. Build trust and create demand

Content builds trust over time. Campaigns and outreach create conversations now. A useful strategy connects both instead of expecting one channel to do every job.

6. Measure what moves the business

Reach can be useful context. Enquiries, calls and signed work matter more. Keep one simple view of the numbers that help you make a better decision every week.
